L'histoire

When you «go down to the Vallon» for the first time, you do not know if you are venturing into a dead end or if it is the beginning of a unique journey. Once you reach the bottom of the stone stairs that wind through old sheds, the Mediterranean reveals itself and stretches out its arms. It is hard to resist the urge to stop for a moment to admire and share the charming atmosphere of this picturesque little port.
Viaghji resides at the heart of this unique decor setting, served on a platter just like the gourmet and iodine-filled suggestions on the menu of the bar menu.
Here, the aperitif, a true institution in Provence, is at the center of the celebrations: singing wines, aniseed, colourful amuse-bouches and Viaghji’s own specialties, a simple moment shared alone, with two or more people, in the middle of the fishing boats of the Vallon des Auffes. Here, time has no hold, it remains suspended.
